We live in crazy, overt political times. Every one has an opinion on everything. Even seemingly agreeable topics, one can search social media and easily find someone steadfastly against it. Halloween for instance.

I suppose the religious have always had an issue with a night that celebrates witches, and demons, and the underworld. That makes sense to me. Typically, they would just refrain from participating and force their children to wear, I don’t know, costumes of the Nativity or something.
