Song of the Week: My Plans

We’re a few days into 2021. We all had the best intentions. Some wanted to hit the gym and lose a few L-Bs. Some wanted to spend less time arguing on social media. I know one person who bought Rosetta Stone. By January 4th, learning a foreign language was done with. Ya know, Mandarin is hard. Failed resolutions are the inspiration for my Song of the Week: My Plans.

One social media platform has welcomed Trump with open arms (and legs.) Hear about it, here.

A lot of people jumped on the “Dry January” wagon. I do love that idea…not for me, understand. But, for you, I think it’s a great idea. Sadly, the events at the Capitol on January 6th, drove many of us to drink. The fear that 2020 had never really ended and, in fact, we were still in some sort of 2020 time warp, the date: December 41st.

I think we’re all just trying to get by. So, if you failed on your chosen resolutions, keep trying. For me, personally, 2021 doesn’t begin until January 20th. In the meantime, enjoy my Song of the Week: “My Plans,” a parody of the Arizona Zervas hit, “Roxanne.”
