Hey, man, with over 300k in population, show Henderson some respect. I know. I know. But calling it Hendertucky is so much more fun. But hey, Nevada’s second city is getting its own hockey franchise. Reported today (2/6/20) the American Hockey League’s San Antonio Rampage will, eventually, move to Hendo. Awesome. (Reportedly, the first two years the team will compete in the Orleans Arena. ) The team will be the Vegas Golden Knights’ AHL affiliate. Rumor has it that the team will be called the Henderson Silver Knights. From a few years back, here’s a parody of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.”
