Are the weather people screwing with us? I’ve lived more than a few decades, and I’ve only recently heard terms like: Polar Vortex, Atmospheric River, and Bomb Cyclone.
Sure, you’re getting a $5,000 check. “After the Midterms.”
El Niño, not so much. I guess the term to describe a warm Pacific Ocean currents dates back to the 1600s. This ain’t a science site, so we’re not going to get into all of that.
The term “Super El Niño” is something new, and meteorologists won’t shutup about the potential consequences that include strong storms and higher than average precipitation across most of the southern U.S.
Mother Nature doesn’t call it extreme weather. She calls it “Climatemaxxing.”
It’s about time we hear from the “El Niño” and see what he has to say for himself. In fact, I hear he’s put a small explanation together using the Duran Duran classic, “Rio.” What say you, El Niño?
