Politicians making promises before elections is nothing new in America. But Donald Trump bribing citizens with a $5,000 check if Republicans retain control of Congress is legally questionable, if not unprecedented.
Fall still has yet to begin, but Corporate Autumn is already in full bloom.
With the president and his party languishing in polls, there’s a real possibility Democrats will take over both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate in November’s midterm elections.
