The National Anthem of U.S. Soccer Fans

I don’t begrudge the onslaught of bandwagon U.S. soccer fans in light of the USMNT’s moderate success at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. I love patriotic stuff. I love nationalism. I don’t particularly care about bobsledding, but during the Winter Olympics I cheer like a mother for Team U.S.A.

But let’s be honest. Reality has set in. The U.S. ended its World Cup run with a record of 1-1-2. The losses to Germany and yesterday to Belgium, frankly, weren’t even close. Yes, we made it to the round of 16 but it was hardly a ringing endorsement of American soccer.

Now that the U.S. has been eliminated, Americans now can focus on what they really care about…football….not futbol…but FOOTBALL. Check out the National Anthem of U.S. Soccer Fans.
