“Ding dong the witch is dead.” – Wizard of Oz
With the swiftness of a Chris Paul drive and the strength of a Blake Griffin dunk, NBA commissioner Adam Silver delivered justice to racist Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling by effectively ending his reign of terror.
“Effective immediately, I am banning Mr. Sterling, for life, from any association with the Clippers organization or the NBA,” said Silver. He added a $2.5 million fine and strongly encouraged the other NBA owners to revoke his ownership.
Here’s a song to tell the story, not only of an old racist white guy, but the hot female that sealed his fate. Check out this parody of the old Beverly Hillbillies theme song. It’s The Ballad of Donald Sterling.
Come and listen to a story about a man named Don
Owns the L.A. Clippers but we’re hoping not for long
Betrayed by a scandalous, gold digging chick
Revealed to the world he was an old racist prick.
First things first, please help me understand
Why is an 81 year old on Instagram
Secretly recorded was his conversation
Now, no one wants to have a Sterling reputation.
Well now, it’s time to say goodbye to Don and all his hate
Fitting, he’s been segregated from the N-B-A
So, what can Donald do with his lifetime ban
He could be the next Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan
Yer a doucher. Live in shame. Take your hood off
Don’t come back now, y’hear?
