I kinda like it when an actor wins an Academy Award and doesn’t thank one single person. They don’t thank their agent, the cast and crew, the producers the studio…God…nobody. Joaquin Phoenix mastered it with a four minute speech about artificially inseminated cows and animal rights and redemption and whatnot. Hell, when his name was announced, he didn’t even turn to his wife, actress Rooney Mara, and so much as give her a peck on the cheek. Good speech though. A lot of little nuggets to take and use for something else, like this parody commercial for a new dairy company, Joaquin Phoenix Dairy.
