Inappropriate NFL

It’s hard to argue that the NFL doesn’t have an off-field violence problem. From Ray Rice to Adrian Peterson to the most recent allegations of domestic abuse by the 49ers’ Ray McDonald and the Cardinal’s Jonathan Dwyer, professional football seems to have some serious issues.
Maybe it stems from the violent nature of the game. Maybe it’s also fueled by the games vernacular. Check out clips from Thursday night’s Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay game. Not only do the announcers, Jim Nantz and Phil Simms speak of violence regularly, even referee speak lends itself to sounding like the NFL promotes violence. Hands to the face? Headbutting?
