When the Hallmark Channel made the ill-fated decision to block ads from a wedding planning site because the commercial they produced featured two women kissing, they took a bit of heat. Celebrities like Ellen and William Shatner (???) took to Twitter to scold the cable channel known for its wholesome holiday programming. They eventually apologized but not before I could put this together. In addition to not accepting LGBTQ-inspired advertising, they’ve also banned all of those letters in its upcoming holiday shows.
