I like pumpkin pie. Who doesn’t? I put a dollop of Cool Whip on that bad boy and go to town. It’s traditional this time of year, right? That being said, I don’t fully understand the obnoxious obsession the world has with pumpkin spice.
I can comprehend the pumpkin spice muffin. Although I’ve never had one, but I kinda get the pumpkin spice latte. Okay, but pumpkin spice soda? Pumpkin spice fettuccine? Pumpkin spice margarine? Y’all are out of your motherpumpkin’ minds.
Here are some of the more ridiculous pumpkin spice offerings:
Coconut Milk – At last! All the benefits of our Coconut Milk Beverage coupled with the incredibly delicious new taste sensation of Pumpkin Spice.
Fettuccine – Nutritious, all-natural pumpkin – lots of it! – infused with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves (what else!).
Vodka – With it’s nutmeg, star anise, cinnamon and sweet pumpkin flavor, Burnett’s Pumpkin Spice Vodka is literally like drinking a pumpkin pie. A pumpkin pie you didn’t even have to bake.
Margarine – Country Crock® Pumpkin Spice spread celebrates the best of the season’s harvest, from the pumpkin patch to your family’s table. Seasonal spices make its rich, familiar flavor the perfect pairing for sweet potatoes, yams and more.
Pringles – A warm blend of cinnamon and pumpkin flavor coats every crisp, delivering the sweet and spicy feeling of autumn in every bite.
Soda – This seasonal soda from Portland, Maine’s Maine Root smells like freshly grated nutmeg and clove, and tastes somewhere between cream soda and ginger beer with enough spices to evoke your favorite fall squash pie.
That’s just the tip of the pumpkin spice-berg. There’s pumpkin spice Kahlua, Clif Bars, bagels, donuts, frozen waffles, instant oatmeal and greek yogurt too. If you’ve had enough…listen to this:
