Congratulations to the Chainsmokers. No, really. I mean, the views alone for the lyric video for their hit “Closer,” has topped a billion. That’s a BILLION…Yes, with a “B.”
That is what is called a hit song, people. It was the band’s first number one song. Along with that success you’re at risk for overexposure. “Closer” has been overexposed.
We’ve all had enough of trying to figure out why anyone would steal their roommate’s mattress. Gross!
I think it’s safe to say that I speak for the majority of music lovers that we have all had enough of the song “Closer.” Here’s a parody detailing what might happen if I hear it just one more time.
