Let’s be honest, 2020 has been a terrible year. On May 25th, it became horrifyingly worse when another unarmed black man, George Floyd was murdered by a Minneapolis police.
Peaceful protests, day and night, have been organized in nearly every major American city and across the globe. Violence, rioting and looting, perpetrated by splinter groups has pushed America to the very brink of anarchy.
As a white man, I’ve never suffered discrimination or been the victim of police brutality. It can be hard to fully understand what African-Americans go through on a daily basis.
I’ve been taught this simple lesson, “You don’t have to be one of to stand with.” The following is my feeble attempt to support those in our society that have been marginalized, maligned and murdered.
