Ahhhh, the World Series, the culmination of rigorous 162-game schedule, extensive rounds of playoff matching the top team from both the American and National Leagues. Oh, the drama. Oh, the intrigue. Oh, the boredom.
Be honest. Baseball is excruciatingly slow. It’s nine guys standing around, relentlessly spitting, scratching and adjusting themselves. Why are they players, coaches and managers doing all of those things? Because they are bored as fuck too.
